NobleKing major atom reps hold sale

Players were out driecting passing traffic to the recent sale, held by the NobleKing atom reps.
The NobleKing major atom A rep hockey team held a yard sale and barbecue last month at Wellseley Park in King City.

It representing their first successful fund-raising event of the season.

With the assistance of the players, coaches and parents, the team raised $875, which will be used to support their on-ice hockey development program, which is set to start this week, based out of the arena in Nobleton.

The team will also be participating in five tournaments this season, including the Greater Fort Erie Minor Hockey Association Tournament and the Bell Capital Cup in Ottawa; the world's largest hockey tournament, with the participation of 510 teams from eight countries, including Finland, Russia, Czech Republic, Italy, France and China.

The 2007-'08 team is comprised of Marcus Beretta, Lucas Brockie, Connor Brunt, Hayden Cummings, Luke DeNicola, Jesse DiMarco, Antonio Ficociello, Christopher Frenette, Aaron Heffernan, Daniel MacGregor, Mitchell Merrilees, Kai Olguin, Lucas Stanghieri, Matthew Unterlander, Jack Payne, Geoffrey Siow and Patrick Warner.

Head Coach Rob Payne thanked the team and parents for their hard work and support in organizing the profitable event.

The team would also like to thank the generous support of Sobey's (Nobleton) and the Beretta Family for donating supplies for the barbecue.
