Some great trips in the works with the King City Seniors' Travel Club You are warmly invited to participate in events at All Saints' Anglican Church, a caring, friendly church. This is the summer of new inspiration, and of equipping the laity for service. This Sunday (July 15) attend the 8 a.m. service, or share the joy at 10 a.m., with the Eucharist and a baby baptism. This Saturday (July 14) from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., come to the sale of Mexican handiwork to raise money in support for the outreach program there. Dawn Ballard and the Outreach Committee are selling items from Mexico, including clothing for children, embroidered wear, and other crafts. Raffle tickets for the beautiful, queen-sized Mennonite quilt are also available. This summer, All Saints' will be enjoying a redecoration inside and out. All colours have been chosen by a wonderful designer to enhance our sense of worship and wellbeing, as well as to freshen us up for our 150th anniversary celebration in November. Any painting volunteers would be appreciated. Community service hours will be given to any high school volunteers who wish to help out. Call the office for details. It seems as though All Saints' is already lining up junior kindergarten pupils for 2011. Bill and Lynda Fines' twin granddaughters Gwen and Grace, born May 25 (busy parents Laura and John Reilly), have been joined by more twins. Leah and Michael Springford are excited to announce that twin grandsons Sam and Oliver were born July 4 to happy parents Amy and Paul Sinclair. We wish them all many blessings. All Saints' Anglican Church is at 12935 Keele St. in King City, a few doors south of King Road. The Eucharist is celebrated at 8 and 10 a.m. in the chapel. The office is open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday in the summer.
