Science fair on Marsh
There were all sorts of fascinating scientific creations on display at Holland Marsh District Christian School as the school recently held its science fair. Grade 8 student Richard Linley created an experiment to determine if there is more solar power available in summer or winter. "They're actually equal," he said he determined. "There's not more power in either."
 | | "Does hot water freeze faster than cold water?" was the question Grade 6 student Alaina MacKenzie set out to answer. She found a quarter cup of boiling water froze in 52 minutes, while the same amount of water, starting at 25 C took about 20 minutes longer to freeze. |
