Grade 8 Classes of '07 in King now look to high school

The graduating class from Holy Name Catholic School gathered outside Sacred Heart Church before last Tuesday's ceremonies.
The end of a school year and the advent of summer is commonplace.

But the June that marks the end of elementary school for good is a big event in a young life.

That's what scores of Grade 8 graduates in King Township have been experiencing over the last week, as the local schools have been holding their graduation ceremonies.

The following is a list of the graduates from the various schools, as well the names of the recipients of some of the major awards that were handed out at the graduation celebrations.

Graduation celebrations cost money, but the grads from Kettleby Public School held a sale in Pottageville in May to help cover the costs.
