Early start to Canada Day festivities
 | | Canada Day was a national holiday, but not everyone chose to sleep in. In fact, there was plenty of activity early in the morning in Churchill as York - Simcoe MP Peter Van Loan hosted his annual "Olde Fashioned Dominion Day" Pancake Breakfast. He was assisted here by John Trotter of Fennels Corners in serving Carsten Wisch, 8, of Churchill. |
|
 | | Several people were working over hot grills to cook all the food at Sunday's breakfast, including George Pohle of Gilford, Ken Simpson of Churchill and King Councillor Jack Rupke. |
