Close game in girls' play

Selba Kitchens were in a tight contest June 14 with their MAQ foes in under-10 girls' play in the King City/Schomberg soccer house league.

In the end, the Kitchen ladies came out on top of the 3-2 final.

Mikaela Tierney collected two of the goals in the winning cause, while Ariana Maniatis scored the other one. Amelia Fortnum was player of the game.

For the MAQ team, Tallin Moyer and Sara Berman each contributed markers, with Berman being named player of the game.
