MEET THE COBRAS Christian Shortill

Christian represents what this year's minor bantam rep team is all about; youth and inexperience, but possessing a willingness to work hard to improve. As a peewee-age player moving up a division, Shortill had to ask for a tryout and has not disappointed. The Nobleton native has played mainly second base, compiling the team's third highest batting average to date and fielding his position with growing confidence. The coaches hope to eventually move Christian behind the plate as the season moves along and his arm strength increases.
