Relay for Life brings out the crowd

The Holland River Unit of the Canadian Cancer Society hosted the second of two Relays for Life Friday night at Pickering College in Newmarket (the previous event was held earlier this month at Lambert Willson Park and Aurora Family Leisure Complex. Teams of 10 spent the night walking around the track to raise money for the cause. The first lap was called The Victory Lap, and it was led by cancer survivors, including King City resident Jane MacLennan.
