Kingfest Music Festival provided weekend of entertainment

It was a weekend to delight and entertain with great music and other happenings. Kingfest 2007 featured virtually non-stop activity at the King Campus of Seneca College. DALA, consisting of Sheila Carabine and Amanda Walther of Toronto, put on several charming performances throughout the festival. John P. Allen, Russell de Carle and Keith Glass of Prairie Oyster provided the finale of the Saturday night performances on the main stage. Susan Luke and Wanda Stride make up Poor Tom, and they entertained Sunday at the Habitat stage. Sarah Harmer had a large, warm and involved audience for her Sunday night performance on the main stage. Some in the audience reacted more than others. Kelly Babineck of Cambridge used the occasion to pop the question (yes, that question) to Erica Knight. She said "yes."
