CCKT sale was a great success

The fund-raising garage and bake sale held by Concerned Citizens of King Township (CCKT) Saturday was good fun and a great success.
Without Cathy Wellesley and Lee Ann Kraft's organizing ability and knowledge of the secrets of garage sales, we might have fallen on our faces. But thanks to them, we more than survived; we did well. And, thanks as well to Geoff Peat for his able assistance.
Many members and friends of Concerned Citizens were very generous with donations, from a brand new barbecue, to children's furniture, to household goods and collectibles, to an offer of setting someone up as a beekeeper. Every one of the cakes, breads and cookies that were baked for the sale were quickly sold.
Thank you to all, those who contributed sale items, who baked, who organized everything, who came and bought, who came and sold, who came and looked.
It was all worthwhile. Thanks again.
