You are warmly invited to participate in weekly events at All Saints' Anglican Church, a caring, friendly church.

This Sunday, services are at 8 and 10:30 a.m., before the summer schedule starts. For the summer, starting Canada Day (July 1) and continuing until the Labour Day weekend Sunday (Sept. 2), services will be at 8 a.m., and changed to 10 a.m. If you have family visiting, do drop in and enjoy worship together.

Everyone is geared up for Kingfest 2007 this weekend (June 22 to 24), on the grounds of the King campus of Seneca College, King City. Habitat for Humanity receives $2 for every ticket sold. Get your tickets in King City from TD Bank, or from Budget Car Rental, 10619 Yonge St., Richmond Hill. Shop in the artisans' village, try different foods, or visit "workshop" venues where artists from one group will do improvisations with those from another. To see the list of music groups participating on the four stages, see www.kingfestmusic.com

After church, attend Sunday's Gospel Show at 1 p.m. on the main stage at Kingfest in the natural amphitheatre, with Toronto's Mass Choir, and Raymond McLain and Mike Stevens. Wristbands allow multiple visits to Seneca (enter west from Dufferin, just north of Bloomington Sideroad) on the date of the ticket. Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m., children (with a supervising parent, with matching numbered wristband) can enjoy Al Simmons of Sesame Street and Sho Mo & the Monkey Bunch in the children's area. Sunday's pass costs $35 (rain or shine!), with free parking, and children under 14 get in free. Enjoy events every hour, and eating in between. At a 4 p.m. Sunday workshop, one musician from Prairie Oyster will improv with Sarah Harmer, with her main stage concert at 8, and Bruce Cockburn's at 9:15 p.m.

All Saints' Anglican Church is at 12935 Keele St. in King City, a few doors south of King Road.

If you know of a need or would like prayer, please contact the church office, or Rev. Nicola Skinner, at (905) 833-5432, or e-mail to (EOL).

King City United Church

King City United Church, a vibrant, caring Christian church, invites all to the Sunday school and the Sunday worship services at 10 a.m., followed with fellowship and refreshments.

King City United Church is one block south of King Road and one block east of Keele Street, at 50 Elizabeth Grove.

Next Sunday's reflection is to be You Can Count on God, based on Romans 8:26-39. All are invited to gather in the parlour after worship to discuss this further.

Are there any hymns in Voices United that you would really like to sing? Please get your suggestions to Pastor Bob and he will do his best to work them into our services between August and November.

Looking for something exciting for your kids to do this summer? Camp Big Canoe, an overnight camp for kids aged six to 15 in Bracebridge, still has spots available. Known for its fabulous out-tripping program, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, crafts, archery, and a great staff, your kids will have the time of their lives. Check our their Web site at www.campbigcanoe.ca

As it has been for many years, there is to be no Sunday morning services and Sunday school from July 8 to Aug. 5.

Thanks to all who attended and to all who participated in making our Southern Hospitality Sunday a great success.

The weather was perfect and the Southern Gospel music by Danny McLellan provided a wonderful ambiance as we enjoyed the delicious Southern barbecue prepared by our resident chef Pete McAskile. Talk about "Showers of Blessing!"

Our co-ed baseball team is having a great time Wednesday evenings. Their game is at 9:30 p.m. this week.

Prayer group meets in the pastor's study at 9:15 a.m. before our Sunday Worship service at 10:30 a.m.

Please call the office with any prayer requests, questions, concerns or if a ride is needed at (905) 833- 2325.

Church-in-the-park will take place in August, weather permitting. Don't forget your lawn chairs! Join us and bring your summer visitors. There'll be a children's program and childcare throughout the summer Sunday services.
