TAKING 'STOCK' OF THE PAST
Saturday's Summer Solstice Festival, hosted by the Lloydtown Rebellion Association, featured a lot of fun to go with the good food. The fun included re-enactments of how village wrong-doers were dealt with in previous times. Kettleby resident Gary Vogan played the role of a vagrant, and was among those doing time in the stocks. Jeff Bowen was the keeper of the stocks and Ken Smith was the bailiff. Turn to page 11 for more on the evening.
