Melba McKinley, 17, is the new Schomberg Fair Ambassador. She accepted the title Sunday from outgoing ambassador Jennifer Atkinson at the conclusion of the Fair. They are seen here with runner-up Leah Feret.

The dairy tent offered plenty of information on the dairy industry. Jamie Upiter of Schomberg and Vicky Botvinnik of Oak Ridges were providing information and some samples too.
The Schomberg Wannabees are this year's champions in the Farm Olympics. The team members are Aaron Metcalf, Mo Blanchard, Dave Blanchard and Debbie Blanchard.

The baby contest is always an exciting time at the Fair. These were the top finishers in the section for girls aged five months to one year; second - Michele Jones of Keswick and six-month-old Jalyn; first - Laurie Koopmans of Barrie and 11-monthold Grace; third - Andrea Brooks Wappel (a former fair ambassador) and Brooke Wappel, who marked her first birthday Monday.
