2007 Schomberg Agricultural Fair

The weekend was a time for watching and learning at Schomberg Agricultural Fair. There was plenty to see at open and junior beef and dairy shows Sunday, and some young folks, like the Stantons of King City, were building up their junior showmanship experience. Jane, 6, showed Lizzie, Meg 8, was showing Meggie and Will, 11, was in charge of Angel. There were many prizes presented at the end of the fair for many homecraft exhibits. Morgan Middleton, 5, won this trophy for her baking. She submitted almond bark, along with decorated cookies and cupcakes. Students of the Arcadia Academy of Music performed on the stage Sunday. Celina Dziuran, 15, of Nobleton, was singing, accompanied by Jason Sutton. The Fair offered youngsters a chance to make friends with all sorts of interesting animals. Cleo Mitsoulis, 7, of Lloydtown was helping to feed this llama.
