Watercolour workshop at museum

Accomplished King watercolour artist Ken MacFarlane will be teaching a one day intermediate level workshop at the King Township Museum next Saturday (June 9).

Explore seascapes and coastal scenes with interesting skies and tidal pools. Learn reflections, rock formations and textures. Incorporate trees, light and shadow and a sunset or sunrise to produce an exciting watercolour.

As well as being an accomplished artist, MacFarlane is a respected instructor who has taught many workshops with great enthusiasm and knowledge of the subject.

The cost is $65 (including GST), and participants have to register in advance. Supplies are the responsibility of the student and coffee and tea will be provided, along with a material list, personal instruction and demos and handouts.

For information or to register, contact MacFarlane at (905) 833-1179, at kenmacfarlane@ primus.ca or visit www.macfarlanewatercolours. com to see his work.
