Schomberg Tennis Club will be having an adult Round-Robin and registration this Saturday (May 12) at 9 a.m.

Balls will be provided.

Membership fees are as follows: Single - $25; couple - $40; family - $45; and junior (to age 16) - $5.

Come out and enjoy some tennis and good fun.

The top player for the ladies at May 2 session of the Happy Times Euchre Club was Helen Groombridge, followed by Marjorie Williamson, Doreen Matson and Dorothy Rodgers. The lucky draw was won by Shirley Kitchen.

At the men's tables, the top player was Annie Hill, followed by Mary Duggan, Dan Gould and Ken Hodgson. Blake Coulter won the lucky draw.

The 50/50 draw winners were Annie Hill and Shirley Kitchen.

Let's celebrate Mom!

Join us for a fun hour of stories and a special craft for Mom this Saturday from 11 a.m. until noon. The cost is $2 per child, and the program is for children aged five to 12. Pre-register at the library.

King Township Public Libraries with be closed May 21 for the Victoria Day. holidayAlso, the library will be closed Sundays for the summer from May 20 to Oct. 7.

Come see us at the Schomberg Fair in the arena May 26 and 27. See our displays, take part in our guessing games and meet library staff.

Schomberg library Book Club meets the last Wednesday of the month. the next meeting will be May 30 at 10:30 a.m. to discuss Deception On His Mind by Elizabeth George. All are welcome.

The library invites you to the annual Spring Tea June 8 at 2:30 p.m. Come for light refreshments and entertainment.
