Rock gardens throughout the season

The Schomberg Horticultural Society is pleased to have Marion Jarvie, renowned horticulturalist and landscape designer, speak at the April 24 meeting, at 8 p.m. at Schomberg Community Hall. Jarvie will explain how to prepare, plant and maintain a rock garden.

This is guest night, so come out and enjoy the speaker, and talk to the members, while enjoying refreshments.

Members will be at the IGA this Friday and Saturday with free passes for a meeting of your choice, as well as information on the plant sale and garden tour, along with tickets for the annual raffle. See you there.

For more information, call (905) 939-2069.

Have you got a band? If any of you teens have a band, Schomberg Fair will have a stage.

Fair organizers are offering local youths the chance to showcase their bands at this year's event in the Big Tent the Thursday and Saturday nights of the fair (May 24 and 26), on a first come, first served basis.
