(Veteran WWII) At Headwater Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Friday, January 12th, 2007. Ed Smith of Schomberg, beloved husband of Muriel (Fuller) and the late Eleanor (Rice). Survived by his sister Verna Smith and pre-deceased by brother Len and sisters Blanche and Hetty. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Respecting Ed's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at Schomberg United Church, Schomberg, 11 am Saturday, April 21st, 2007. Interment of cremated remains will follow in Schomberg Union Cemetery. Donations in Ed's memory to Southlake Regional Health Care Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
