Passed away suddenly at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 16, 2007. Nick Duivenvoorden of Oro in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Dianne of 40 years. Loving father and Opa of Peter (Michele) and their children Dylon, Dalton, and Duston; Nick (Debbie) and their daughter Natasha; Noreen (Chris) Iles and their children Emma and Jacob; Elisabeth (Tibor) Haasz and their daughter Danika and their soon to be son. Dear brother of Maria VanderMast, John Duivenvoorden, Joyce Allen, Elisabeth Kristenson, Nancy Kearns, and Peter Duivenvoorden. Loved son in law of Noreen Thomas. Uncle Nick will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM Funeral Home (201 Minet's Point Road at Yonge Street) Barrie on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held from St. John Vianney Church (13 Baldwin Lane) Barrie, on Friday, April 20, 2007, at 10 am. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Barrie.
