Kids storm into Pottageville Park to collect Easter eggs

The unseasonably cold weather Saturday didn't exactly contribute to the Easter spirit, but there were still plenty of young people out at Pottageville Park to collect some 20,000 plastic Easter eggs that had been scattered by members of the King City and Nobleton Lions Clubs. The young egg hunters had to wait for the signal, and then the stampede began.
Craig Hayhoe of Pottageville watched as his two-yearold daughter Jenna searched for her eggs.
Matthew Hudspith, 2, of Richmond Hill found some eggs, and was ready to prove it.
The tennis court at the park was set aside for smaller children to hunt for their Easter eggs without having to compete with the bigger kids. Vanessa Mathewson, 2, of Schomberg found there was plenty of selection there.
