The Schomberg Lions are inviting people to join them for their Charter Night Dinner and Dance April 14 at Schomberg Arena.

Tickets are only $25 per person.

Crush-athon

Come and have fun with the Schomberg Lions June 9 at the arena parking lot. Bring your pop cans between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. and help crush them so that they can sell the scrap metal for cash which goes to fund all community projects.

In addition you can participate in the Garage Sale, at $15 per table.

The top player among the ladies at the March 21 session of the Happy Times Euchre Club was Colleen Coulter, followed by Shirley Stonehouse, Helen Groombridge and Marjorie Williamson. The lucky draw was won by Peggy Johnston. Leading for the men was Murray Edwards, followed by Al Jackson, Jim Walker and Murray Kaake, with Don Warden winning the lucky draw.

The 50/50 draw winners were Arnold Rodgers and Al Jackson.

In March 28 play, the best player for the ladies was Velma Walker, followed by Blanche Crane, Colleen Coulter and Dorothy Rodgers. Sonja Meyer was the winner of the lucky draw. At the men's tables, Dan Gould led the way, followed by Trevor Graham, Shirley Stonehouse and Jim Walker. The lucky draw winner was Bill Groombridge.

Doreen Matson and Arnold Rodgers were the 50/50 draw winners.
