Historical society will hear about the paranormal

Guest speaker Robin Bellamy will tantalize the King Township Historical Society's audience April 15 when she discusses the work of her organization Paranormal Studies and Investigations Canada (PSICAN).

Ghosts and things that go bump in the night or day are topics for serious research. The unexplained phenomena is often described in folklore or historical literature. Someone you know may believe the King Township Museum, for example, is haunted.

Come and find out at 2 p.m. at the museum, at 2920 King Rd. The talk is free and everyone is welcome.

At 3:15, following Bellamy's talk, there will be a thank-you reception to honour the society's pastpresident Helen Poulis, who is transferring to the position of treasurer, and Elsa-Ann Pickard who leaves that post and joins the museum board. Both devoted volunteers have given generously of their efforts toward the wellbeing of the society and the preservation of the Township's history.
