There will come a time when enough is enough, so here's a quick tip solution.

Wipe loose food particles away with a moist paper towel. Spray the interior walls with a cleaning solution like Mr. Clean Antibacterial Multi-Surfaces Cleaner spray, almost saturating the inside, in every corner, with the help of a wet sponge. Rinse thoroughly with potable water and voila, the microwave is like new again.
