King Wild stopped at the finals in their first season

      Head Coach Paul Hampton believes his men deserved a better fate, and he's probably right. But they have to settle for what they were served, and that was making it only as far as the finals in the Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League in its opening year.

Police issuing reminders about deteriorating ice
      The York Regional Police Marine Unit is warning residents that with the recent mild temperatures set to continue this week, the ice on Lake Simcoe has almost completely deteriorated and rivers and streams may be swollen and running faster than usual.

     The Wild's Mike Bodley was in the middle of a group of Bradford defenders, but he was still able to open the scoring in Thursday's match on this play. Dan Douglas and Marc Zanette were backing him up on the play. King won this game 6-3.
