COLLEGE'S HOLIDAY EVENT HELPS MOTHERS AND BABIES
Pickering College's Holiday Home Tour in December resulted in $2,700 being recently donated to Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket. Tour cochairs Paula Badali (centre) and Kelly Mason (right) present Sheena Shannon from Southlake with the cheque, which will go toward Southlake's Maternal Child Program. The annual event showcases homes in the community decorated for the holidays by local designers, decorators and florists. In addition to event ticket sales, funds were also raised through a generous donation from The Beswick Group. The event culminated at the school with a Seasonal Vendor Boutique where local artisans and vendors sold items for the holiday season.
