Plenty of outdoor winter fun at Holy Name School

The temperatures were just cold enough recently to remind everyone it was winter, so conditions were perfect for the annual winter carnival at Holy Name Catholic School in King City. There was plenty of fun hockey action in the snow.
Bonhomme de Neige was a big attraction for those taking part in the winter activities. He was guided around the school yard by education assistant Kristy McCague.
There were relay races in the snow. Sabrina Del Vasto, in senior kindergarten was up against Grade 1 student Angelo Bellone.
One of the events had kids skipping in the snow. Grade 5's David Wozniak was giving it his all.
It's not easy to hop along a course carrying a volleyball between your legs, as Grade 8 student Daniela Cerrone found out.
Students got to try their hand at various skills. Grade 4 student Taylor Taffo was guiding this soccer ball through an obstacle course.
