It was Pancake Tuesday last week, and that helped set the dinner menu for many in the community. Michael Darnowski, 11, had no shortage of servers when he went up for his dinner at Schomberg United Church, including his mother Sheila, who was flanked by Liz MacPherson and Linda Jessop.
Bob Teather was among those on mixing duty at the annual supper held at Schomberg United Church.
All Saints' minister was among the patrons. Rev. Nicola Skinner and her 20-monthold son Noah were getting their dinner from Alysha Dupuis.
There were several families out for dinner last Tuesday. They included Christine, Melissa and Carter Diceman, who were out with their folks at All Saints' Anglican Church in King City.
Karen Binions and Dawn Ballard were hard at work in the kitchen at All Saints' Church.
Adam Chittick and Eric Leon were busy in the kitchen at the supper held at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church.
George and Meline De Carvalho and their one-year-old son James were among those dining at St. Mary Magdalene's Church.
The King City Seniors' Centre was hopping Feb. 13 as they hosted a pancake supper of their own. Seniors' Centre board chair Vince Cancelli was also hard at word cracking eggs. Jean Beale and Joyce Glass were busy at the griddle.
Nobleton Lions Manuel Pereira and Paul Olsen were keeping up with the run on pancakes at their dinner.
