Lots of winter fun on Dufferin Marsh

The Dufferin Marsh Committee hosted their annual skating event Saturday, and drew a steady stream of young and old seeking some winter fun. This long line was made up of Mikaela and Michelle Lovisotto, Ainslee and Lidia Bissette and Celina Lovisotto. Jill Kelly, treasurer of the Dufferin Marsh Committee, was helping to make sure people had a fire handy to help them stay warm. Some people know how to arrive at events, like the one on the marsh, in style. Tatum and Kella Wakelin, 18 months, let their mother Jane and grandmother Sheila Kelly do the pulling. As usual, the adults in attendance were pressed into skate-tightening service. Stephanie Holmes was doing the honours for Cale, 4, and Leanne, 3, while Felix and Chloe Skinner, both four, watched. There was food on the marsh too, and Jennifer Vincent and Wendy Shepherd had fun doing their own cooking.
