King City United Church is a vibrant, caring community, and warmly invites one and all each Sunday at 10 a.m. to our worship service, led by Rev. Bob Biggar, and to our Sunday school, followed by fellowship and refreshments.

We are located one block south of King Road and one block east of Keele Street at 50 Elizabeth Grove.

Rev. Biggar's sermon reflection for Feb. 11 will be It's Jesus Calling: I Need You, and is based on Luke 5:1-11. There will be an opportunity to gather in the parlour following this and subsequent worship services to explore the morning's sermon in depth through dialogue with the minister and with each other.

Also, Feb. 11 is Bring a Friend Day, where children are welcome to invite a friend to church to join in the morning's program.

Feb. 17, King City United Church is planning a Family Fun Evening for all ages, starting at 6 p.m. It will include a Valentine pasta dinner and games. To assist in arrangements, please call Serena at (905) 833-2707 to confirm your attendance.

Our Youth Groups are open to all youth in Grades 4 to 9, and provide a safe environment for the enjoyment of activities. For information on upcoming activities, please call Serena or Kent at (905) 833-2707.

The King City United Church choir and our new Director of Music Rosemary Karunaratne would still very much like to welcome additional members. We need you and know you would enjoy both the music and the fellowship. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings for about an hour from 8 p.m. Please come and join us.

This year's Lenten study will examine the last week of Jesus' ministry according to the Gospel of John, and will be offered by the minister on Tuesday afternoons from 1:30 to 3 beginning on Feb. 27. All are most welcome.
