      Vaughan - King - Aurora MPP Greg Sorbara hosted his annual Community Skating Party recently at the Aurora Recreation Centre. When he wasn't greeting his guests, Sorbara was busy circling the rink with his granddaughter Mira Korngold, 7.

Munro hosts New Year's Levee
      It was a festive mood in the Churchill Community Centre last Sunday as York North MPP Julia Munro hosted her annual New Year's Levee. Those on hand included York - Simcoe MP Peter Van Loan. Munro also greeted Innisfil resident Dylan Simpson, who was celebrating his ninth birthday.

      It wasn't that long ago when we were wondering if we were going to see much snow this winter. But the white stuff has arrived and plow operators have been busy cleaning it up. This plow was operating on Keele Street near Kettleby last week.

Lots of kids out for dance
      Once again, there was a loud and enthusiastic bunch of kids out recently for the latest Much Music Video Dance at Nobleton Community Centre and Arena. DJ Justin Frechette was keeping the place jumping. The evening was put on by the King Township Recreation Department.
