Nobleton Notes St. Paul's Presbyterian Our mid-week services resume tonight (Wednesday) at 7 p.m. This 20-minute service is ideal for those in the community who are unable to make a regular Sunday morning service. Everyone is welcome! Please join us for any one of our many studies that take place through the week. Studies take place Mondays at 1 p.m., Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. and Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. We also have a prayer group that meets weekly at the church Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. Join us this Sunday (Jan. 21) at 9:45 a.m. as Rev. Shawn Kennedy concludes his three part "Cliff-hanger" series about Christ's kingdom. Nursery care is provided during the service (for children up to and including age five). Sunday school for all ages follows the service at 11 a.m. For further information about any of our events, please contact the church office at (905) 859-0843. Nobleton Women's Institute Members and visitors are invited to the meeting tomorrow (Thursday) at 7:30 p.m. It will be held at Joan's house. Call (905) 859-5010 for details. As part of our Life Skills program, we will be learning about the food and culture of Ukraine. The roll call for this meeting is "One thing my mother taught me," an appropriate thought for all the things about culture learned from our parents and relatives. If you wish, you may bring clean, used clothes, towels and sheets and other household articles for our basket to be donated to the York Region family shelter. There are the envelope boxes ready for your pickup at Sunday Mass and there are many that are unmarked that can be used for any new parishioners who are not registered presently with St. Mary's. Every year, we must give numbers to the archbishop of the total number of families that are registered with our church. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Fr.
