Here's looking back at 2006

Some years stand out in memories long after they have gone by, while others just seem to mark the on-going passage of time.

There weren't an appreciable number of major traumatic events to mark 2006 for the future, but some noteworthy things took place. It was year Stephen Harper got promoted and Pluto got demoted.

Through it all, the world unfolded.

And life went on at its own pace in King. There was lots of talk about sewers and water and subdivisions. Voters here went to the polls twice, but in the process, not a whole lot changed - just two new councillors and one new trustee.
