The suspect entered the bank at about noon Dec. 22. He immediately forced customers and employees behind the front counter and demanded money. The suspect was not observed to brandish a weapon, but kept his hand in his pocket while in the bank. The tellers complied with the suspects demands and gave him a quantity of cash.

The suspect fled on foot to the rear of the bank and to the parking lot of the Nobleton Community Centre where he entered a large, blue, newer-model pick-up truck with a grey bumper. He fled in the vehicle northbound through the parking lot towards Old King Road.

He is described as white, 25 to 30 years of age, 5 feet 11 inches, 170 pounds, with a medium build and light complexion. He was wearing a light-blue mask, red bandanna over his face, a red jacket, a blue hooded sweatshirt, dark wind pants with a white stripe down the legs and dark shoes

Police continue to advise people that if they find themselves the victim of a robbery, be sure to cooperate with suspects and get the best description possible. Do not fight back. Report suspicious people and vehicles to police, and they will respond to these calls.
