Seniors' Centre AGM is Friday

The Senior's Centre is to hold its annual general meeting this Friday (Jan. 12) at 1:30 p.m.

Members are urged to attend and bring ideas for the new season, help elect new members to the management board and enjoy a social afternoon over refreshments.

The guest speaker is to be Bert Duclos from the Township of King Heritage Committee. Members from the King Township Recreation Department will also be in attendance.

The 39ers

The first meeting of the 39ers in the new year are scheduled for Monday, January 15 at 1;30 p.m. Financial Experts from the TD Bank in King City are to be the guest speakers.

United Church

King City United Church is a vibrant, caring community, and invites one and all each Sunday at 10 a.m. to the worship service led by Rev. Bob Biggar, and to Sunday school, followed by fellowship and refreshments.

The church is located one block south of King Road and one block east of Keele Street at 50 Elizabeth Grove.

Our Youth Groups are open to all youth in Grades 4 to 9, and provide a safe environment for the enjoyment of activities. For information on becoming involved and to find out about upcoming activities, call Serena or Kent at (905) 833-2707.

As we start a new year, the King City United Church choir would very much like to welcome additional members. We need you and know you would enjoy both the music and the fellowship. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings for about an hour from 8 p.m.
