Remembrance Day marked with ceremony in Schomberg

Nobleton veterans Charlie Harrison and Ray Huycke offered a salute to their fallen comrades. Schomberg resident Lt.-Cmdr. Bob Gwalchmai read the Roll of Honour before a full hall at Saturday's Remembrance Day ceremonies in Schomberg. His reading included service people who have recently died in peacekeeping duty. Local resident Rachell Miller sang Amazing Grace at Saturday's observances. Rev. Victor Poelzer of Schomberg United Church delivered a reading of We Remember Them. King Fire Chief Bryan Burbidge was flanked by District Chiefs Paul Jackson and Dave ball as they laid a wreath Saturday.
