All Around Schomberg Schomberg Library Schomberg Library will be closed for Remembrance Day this Saturday (Nov. 11). Come out to your local library branch to create Christmas crafts Nov. 25, from 2 until 4 p.m. Anumber of crafts will be made. This event is for youngsters aged six to 13 (younger with caregiver). Paint and glue guns will be used. To avoid disappointment, pre-register for all programs, as space is limited. The cost is $8.50 per participant. Happy Times Euchre Submitted by Shirley Stonehouse The winners among the ladies in the Nov. 25 euchre session was Peggy Johnston, followed by Margorie Williamson, Helen Groombridge and Greta Graham. The lucky draw was won by Mary Hammett and Greta Graham won the carrying prize. At the men's tables, the top player was Annie Hill, followed by Blake Coulter, Dan Gould and Bob Bishop. Tom Wilson won the lucky draw and the carrying prize. The 50-50 draw winners were Helen Groombridge and Shirley Kitchen. Lions selling turkeys Get your Christmas Turkey from the Schomberg Lions and help to support local community groups. Turkeys are available from 10 to 22 pounds, at $2.89 per pound.
