Nobleton United Church Please join us this Sunday (Nov. 5) for our Remembrance Day Worship Service at 11:15 a.m. at Nobleton United Church on the north side of King Road, just west of Highway 27. The service will show appreciation for all who work for others in the community. Nobleton fire fighters were specifically invited and will be attending. There will be a time of silence. All are welcome! Nobleton United Church would like to thank everyone who attended our bazaar Saturday. It was a nasty day but our bazaar was a success. Congratulations to our three draw winners - Freda Robson won the pillows, Sybil Hennebury won the afghan, and Cathy Wilson won the quilt. Once again, thank you for your support. St. Mary's Catholic Church The parishioners at St. Mary's Catholic Church wish to thank the Catholic Women's League and the Knights of Columbus for hosting the lunch for Bishop Hundt. There was a reception after the 9:45 a.m. mass Sunday where the congregation met with Bishop Hundt. Many thanks goes out to the lectors and everyone who helped make this day as successful as it was. A special thanks goes out to the Heralds of the Gospel for their singing talent and general help with our masses Sunday.
