Grandilli has not wasted taxpayers' money

Reading Breck Carter's letter in the Oct. 25 King Sentinel made me conclude that it was the most short sighted, misinformed and inaccurate letter that I have ever read.

As a member of the Nobleton Beautification Committee, I know the actual costs for this

"project". The only way Breck Carter arrived at this cost was by using a Mickey Mouse calculator!

To suggest this was a "waste" is a slap in the face to all the volunteers who donated their time or materials.

Ironically enough, I did not see Breck Carter volunteering.

If you are concerned that Councilor Grandilli wastes money, it must be based on your math.

I would support him any day of the week. Any councilor that can arrange approximately $120,000 worth of landscape improvements for only

$45,000 should be commended. This was exceptional value. This was a saving of 62.5 per cent!

Imagine a 62.5 per cent discount on the King City legal bill! That would be enough money to put bricks on your glass house.

Charlie Wilson,

Nobleton
