All Around Schomberg Craft and bake sale Schomberg United Church will be holding its craft and bake sale at the church Nov. 18. It will run from 9 a.m. until noon. Happy Times Euchre Submitted by Shirley Stonehouse The top players among the ladies at the Oct. 18 Happy Times Euchre session were Jean Wilson, followed by Gloria Clarkson, Mildred Jessop and Mary Hammett. The lucky draw winner was Helen Groombridge. Among the men, the top player was Al Jackson, followed by Bill Groombridge, Walter Hill and Andy Patterson, with John Banks winning the lucky draw. The 50-50 draw winners were Mary Hammett and Bill Groombridge. In Oct. 25 play, the top lady was Colleen Coulter, followed by Shirley Stonehouse, Jean Wilson and Irene Palmer. Mary Hammett won the lucky draw. At the men's tables, Murray Kaake was first, followed by Walter Hill, Gloria Clarkson and Blake Coulter. The lucky draw was won by Annie Hill Doreen Matson and Helen Groombridge won the 50-50 draw. Lions draw The latest Early Bird winner in the Schomberg Lions Cash Draw is Grainne Malcom of Schomberg, who is now richer by $500. The draw took place last Monday evening.
