Grandilli has wasted money Peter Grandilli has never met a tax dollar he didn't want to spend. First, it was his silly promise last election to plant trees down the middle of Highway 27 in the heart of Nobleton. Saner heads prevailed on that one, but now he claims in his campaign brochure that he "installed cross walk at Wilson and 27." Poor Peter. He's so confused. First of all, it's Wilsen, not Wilson, but never mind. It's not a cross walk that's been installed; it's a full-fledged traffic light. Or didn't Peter notice? Well, he sure didn't notice that neither is necessary. There's no pedestrian traffic at that intersection. Then there's the Nobleton gazebo, with peter claiming he was the "driving force." At $300 a square foot for a building with no walls, doors or heat, that nobody uses, that's a lot of "drive." Maybe that's a government word for "waste." It would be funny, except for the sewers. Now we're talking real money, with each of us paying out to replace perfectly good septic systems so Slokker can build its subdivisions. It might be too late to stop the sewers, but it's not too late to stop Peter Grandilli in Ward 2. Breck Carter, Nobleton |
