Speak up about your candidate It is with interest that I read the editor's comments (Sentinel, Oct. 18) about sign damage. I am not surprised. Having attended two all candidates' meetings, observed and then talked with others on their opinions, the general feel seems etched with fear. People are afraid to cite which side they are taking. Fear of what people might think, or worst, do! We have to stand up for what we believe in and our beliefs may have changed, and that is okay. Many people like to keep their choice of candidate secret, and that is okay too. But if you are passionate about supporting your chosen candidate, then get out of your comfort zone and speak up. It's time! Cheryl Fisher, Schomberg |
