Many walked the WALK

I would like to thank all of those volunteers who showed up this past Saturday to pick up litter as part of the War Against Litter in King (WALK).

The Highway 400 and King Road carpark and southbound off ramp from the 400 are spectacular now. In particular, kudos to the ministry of transportation for supplying the safety vests, bags and refreshments; the students

from St. Thomas of Villanova College, King City Secondary and Country Day School; Councillors Jane Underhill, Steve Pellegrini and Bill Cober; the King residents, many of whom are always present at these cleanups; and my family for helping in the organization. As always I need people to help with phoning.
