Sora Fashions in Schomberg joins in breast cancer campaign

FDJ French Dressing, the Montreal-based manufacturer of women's jeans and lifestyle apparel, is partnering with Sora Fashions of Schomberg in a fund-raising campaign entitled Are You Aware? this month for breast cancer awareness.

Are You Aware? is designed to heighten awareness and raise money to help fight breast cancer locally. Every shopper who makes a donation at Sora Fashions will receive a special gift from FDJ as a token of appreciation for supporting the cause. As well, store proprietor Mary LaRocca said when any pink item is sold,

she will donate 10 per cent of the sale price to the cause. At the end of the month, all funds raised will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Ontario Chapter to further fight the disease.

"We are very pleased to be able to do our part in the fight against breast cancer in our region," LaRocca commented. "With FDJ French Dressing's support, we are able to raise awareness and funds and offer an FDJ thank you gift (while quantities last) to anyone who would like to join with us no matter what the size of their donation. Of course, we hope

people will be generous for this cause because together we can beat breast cancer."
