This is Hospice Awareness Week

Oct. 7 to 14 is Hospice Awareness Week.

Hospice King - Aurora is marking the week, promoting the professionally supervised volunteer support services it has been providing since 1983 for individuals and families living with lifethreatening illnesses or coping with loss.

The programs offered include friendly visiting, client advocacy, volunteer drivers, as well as a range of complementary therapies, and bereavement support.
