Halloween harvest coming to museum

Join King Township Museum in celebrating the harvest and Halloween Oct. 28!

The museum will be hosting its Halloween Harvest festival and concert on the museum grounds.

There will be games and activities for the small children, but all ages are welcome.

The festival will run from 2 until 4 p.m.

The dynamic Garry Jackson will be in concert. He is a well known Canadian singer/songwriter who has mesmerized audiences with his soulful voice and compassionate folk lyrics. For more information on Jackson, visit www.garryjackson.ca

Proceeds from the day will be donated to Hospice King and Leeder Place Family Shelter. These organizations specialize in caring for people and work very hard all year round to make York Region a better place to live.

Guests are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Food Bank. The cost is $8 per family of four or $3 each.

The museum is at 2920 King Rd. in King City. For more information, phone (905) 833-2331.
