Temelkovski to hosts seminar for businesses

Oak Ridges - Markham MP Lui Temelkovski will be hosting seminars on how to do business with the government of Canada.

They will be next Wednesday (Oct. 11), with one session running from 9 a.m. until noon, and the other from 2 to 5 p.m. They will be in the council chambers of the Town of Markham Municipal Building at 101 Town Centre Blvd. (near highway 7 and Warden Avenue). The presentation will be provided by Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) and will inform businesses of ways to navigate the procurement process and other opportunities from the federal government.

"This seminar would be useful for any enterprise attempting to promote its goods and/or services to the federal government," Temelkovski pointed out. "Accessing information on contracts and business opportunities from the federal government can be challenging and I am pleased that Public Works offers these seminars for businesses."

The MP's office has issued an invitation to all businesses in the riding and all have been asked to RSVP to the Ottawa office if they are interested in attending. Space is limited and is therefore restricted to only one representative per business, on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are also asked to choose the seminar time that works best for them.

The cut-off date is Oct. 4. Call (613) 992-3640 to register.
