EFFORT TO BREAK RECORD

About 35 people took part in the local effort Saturday to set a new world's record for taking a simultaneous onekilometre hike. The Cold Creek Conservation Area was one of two sites in King where walkers contributed to the effort. Here, Judy Craig of Cold Creek and Laura Campbell of the Township's Parks, Recreation and Culture Department watch as Councillor Bill Cober and his daughter Taylor signed in after completing the walk.
