Filming was going on recently for a TV pilot that will delve into the equestrian world.
Bell ExpressVu is working on the project, which features local equestrian star Beth Underhill.
Lindy Wellsby, who has worked on a number of projects with Underhill, said the film was being shot under the working title of The Equestrian.
She said it's profiling Underhill, and one of her students, Carly CampbellCooper, an aspiring young rider.
Senior producer Garry Murdock said the show is aimed at giving people a look into the life of an up and coming equestrian star, who was also slated to appear at last week's Tournament of Champions in Palgrave.
He added it delves into what being an equestrian involves, the disciplines a young rider must learn, the sacrifices and what exactly it takes to make it to the top.
How far she can go depends a lot on her, Underhill observed. "She possesses a lot of talent," she said.
"What makes this half hour program stand out from other productions of this sort is that the program is being shot and produced entirely in High Definition, giving viewers a much clearer image and a beautiful widescreen image to enjoy," Murdock added.
Underhill remarked the show is "meant to be a little bit entertaining and a little bit educational."
