Program on multiple births

York Region Health Services is offering a sixweek series of prenatal classes, beginning Oct. 3.

Facilitated by registered nurses, the series will focus on multiple pregnancies. Specific program topics will include fetal development, physical and emotional changes, coping strategies, labour and delivery, birthing options, postpartum adjustment, newborn care, communication and parenting skills.

The sessions will run from 6:30 until 9 p.m. at the York Region Health Services facility at 4261 Highway 7 East, in Markham.
