Ballaré Dances into it's 10th Year!
By Wendy Soloduik
Ballaré Performing Arts Centre in Nobleton is celebrating it's 10th season of dance this year.
The studio, located in the Nobleton Plaza, offers classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical jazz, tap, acrobatics, hip-hop and musical theatre.
Classes run from September until June, with summer programs available. Classes are open to girls and boys, aged three until adult.
Caroline Crimi, owner of Ballaré, holds a degree in Dance from Ryerson University, and a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Toronto. Her instructors all hold various teacher training certifications as well.
Over the past decade, students from Ballaré have taken home "some very impressive awards," as well as taken part in community activities, private recitals and for some students, gone on to teach dance themselves.
Ballaré services the communities of Schomberg, Bolton, Palgrave, Kleinburg, Woodbridge and King City, with some students traveling a greater distance.
